Sarcoma Accelerator responsibilities

Dr Nixon is an NHS consultant clinical oncologist in soft tissue sarcomas, bone sarcomas and GISTs at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, and an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Glasgow. She has been involved in driving research and clinical innovation for sarcomas in Scotland and developing and delivering clinical studies in sarcomas, as well as contributing to several multi-centre studies as a Principal Investigator.  She leads on the collection of clinical data for the Sarcoma Accelerator.
