Sarcoma Accelerator responsibilities

Dr Sandro Pasquali is a clinical scientist and a surgical oncologist in the Molecular Pharmacology Unit and the Sarcoma Service.  His research focuses on the search for new therapeutic targets, the mechanisms of resistance to therapeutic options, and prognostic and predictive markers for soft tissue sarcomas.  Dr Pasquali and his team are developing preclinical models of different sarcoma histologies for the Sarcoma Accelerator Consortium, to enable testing of new therapeutic approaches for patients with sarcoma.
